A nice friendly pub located in Aston. Plenty of parking spaces at the side of the pub and family's are welcome. The pub has a play area outside for the kids and a beer garden. In the back section of the pub a conservatory has been built which is always nice to have a drink in when the weather is nice. Also a pool table is located in the back area. The pub also serves a variety of meals and snacks which are really tasty! The lion also has a decent selection of hand pulled ales for those who enjoy them.

went on a groupon voucher value £48 with my wife and to children 15 and 16 had one starter combo for two £7.95 4 meals and a drink each and we still had to pay an additional £15.45, food very average and expensive for what we got, pub decor not good tired and dark and there's a lack of professionalism about the place, have paid half the price and had much better food and service, this is the first time I've ever complained about anything on here as i don't usually bother, so come on yellow lion you can do better then this with just a little care and attenion
